Please meet SÜSTIK. She is fast, strong and beautiful. Specially built for short-handed sailing.
She was born in 1992 in Germany and then traveled to the Netherlands. After that she sailed to Malta – did some races and visited other Mediterranean countries and small islands with her friendly owners. On one sunny day in the middle of January 2016 she met her new owners – Martin and Mariana. And now she is getting ready for longer passages and challenges.
What makes her stand out of the crowd is her Central Winch System which is right in front of the steering wheel. This makes it super easy to control all the lines from the cockpit while steering. Even the reefs. Her construction quality is very high and layout well researched and executed.
When built she was Dehler’s flagship and pioneer because of her lightness, yet being very strong at the same time. The fine fiberglass moldings inside remind a bit of an airplane or a space shuttle.
